February 2021 Good Catch Award

February’s Good Catch goes to the crew at Twin Rivers White Hall. The crew signed on breaker 5 13.8/480 VAC clearance. The interior work was completed, the breaker replacement work was left to complete. In between the work scope, Twin Rivers switched in a new temporary system for lighting which back fed  480 in reverse to the entire circuit string. The crew got with plant personnel found the back fed location LOTO , completed work and the plant fixed the problem. Lesson learned is to treat everything like it’s HOT, TEST EVERYTIME / EVERY TASK.
