The Koontz Electric Scholarship Fund, Inc. hosted its 10th annual KECI Invitational Golf Tournament in Morrilton, Arkansas on Thursday, September 23rd. Following all ADH and CDC guidelines, there was no known virus transmission. Since its inception, the tournament has raised over $77k, which is matched by Koontz Electric Company, for a total of $155k. 55 scholarships have been committed to recipients from Conway County graduating high school seniors.
The Koontz Scholarship fund provides scholarships to Conway County high school graduates focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics degrees and specialized training programs. Applications are available at all county high schools.
Despite the ongoing pandemic, the 2021 KECI Invitational at the Morrilton Country Club was a huge success. The golf course was in great condition and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event. Special thanks to all sponsors and employee volunteers. We couldn’t do it without you.
