This important project involves major upgrades to the facility’s Station Service and electrical distribution systems, including the replacement of the 480V station service switchgear and motor control centers that power essential plant operations and mission-critical support systems.
Hydropower facilities operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers play a vital role in supporting reliable, renewable energy generation and strengthening grid resiliency nationwide. Modernization projects like this help enhance long-term reliability, safety, maintainability, and operational performance for critical infrastructure facilities.
Construction activities are currently scheduled to begin in Fall 2026.
