Scope of work consisted of the removal of existing 480VAC Station Service Switchgear, and install new 480VAC, four section, Station Service Switchgear with automatic transfer, and synchronizing capabilities. Installation of new conduit and wire from Station Service Switchgear to Motor Control Centers.  Removal of existing motor control centers throughout the facility, and install new Unit 1, Unit 2, and Sump Pump Motor Control Centers. Installation of new conduit and wire for all distribution loads.  

Upgrading HVAC system in the switchgear room.  Removal of existing powerhouse lighting transformers and replace with new dead front dry type transformers.  Install conduit and wire for portable generator tie in.  Upgrade existing station service board with new metal doors.  Remove and replace various 480VAC panel boards throughout the powerhouse.  Removal of all existing 480VAC welding receptacles, and install new conduit, wire, and welding receptacles throughout the powerhouse.  Installation of new conduit, power, and control cable for penstock exhaust fans.  Removal of existing power circuits that are asbestos and replace with new conductors.

This project was completed on budget.
