The Memphis Regional Megasite involved constructing and installing essential infrastructure, including developing a Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, Water Supply Wells, and Water Towers. The primary goal was to establish a comprehensive electrical and communication system that would support these facilities’ efficient and reliable operation and meet future industrial and residential growth needs.
Key components of the electrical system included the installation of generators, switchgear, motor control centers, distribution panels, and transformers. These components ensured that the plants could manage their operations effectively, from water treatment to wastewater management, with minimal interruptions. A medium voltage ductbank connected the remote Water Supply Wells to the central Water Tower, providing a consistent water supply across the site.
The project also integrated communication systems for real-time monitoring and control of the facilities. Automating the processes through state-of-the-art instrumentation and controls increased operational efficiency and safety. Security systems, including site access controls and fire alarm systems, were also installed to safeguard the facilities. Upon completion, the project provided a reliable, self-sustaining infrastructure capable of supporting the Memphis Regional Megasite’s water and wastewater needs for years, contributing to Tennessee’s long-term economic growth and sustainability.

SCOPE OF WORK:
- Construction of a Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, Water Supply Wells, and Water Towers for the State of Tennessee’s Memphis Regional Megasite. The project consists of supply and installation of all electrical components and equipment including generators, switchgear, indoor and outdoor MCCs, along with distribution panels and transformers to provide a complete plant electrical system from utility to end component. Installation of a medium voltage ductbank to connect the seven (7) remote Water Supply Wells and a Water Tower. Installation of all communication cabling and assisting with the installation of the instrument and controls package. Also includes complete installation of site access, security, and fire alarm systems for the various locations.
